Meyer Lemon

Meyer lemon is a hybrid variety of citron, mandarin and pomelo, reaching up to 3m in height, with near-round fruit that turns yellow to orange-tinted on ripening and lower acidity than Omani lime. Trials have confirmed it tolerates hot climates like other lime varieties.

Planting & care tips

• Plant in full sun and well-drained soil.
• Water regularly, letting the topsoil dry slightly between waterings.

• Prune dry branches and remove suckers below the graft union.
